Acheson House

Simpson & Brown led an extensive and complex re-roofing project at the Category A listed 17th Century Acheson House, situated on the historic Canongate in Edinburgh's Old Town.

Alderman Fenwick's House

One of the most important mercantile town houses in any city in the North of England. Simpson & Brown carried out structural and internal repairs to the buildings for the Tyne & Wear Buildings Preservation Trust. The house remains in the ownership of the Trust and is let as offices.

Alderstone House

Originally a 17th century Tower House, Alderstone has been extended and adapted over the centuries. Simpson & Brown was commissioned to alter and extend the building to accommodate extensive modern office space.

Arbroath Abbey Visitor Centre

Located within the grounds of Arbroath Abbey in Angus, this oak framed Visitor Centre provides facilities for visitors to the historic abbey. It featured a complex curved sedum roof, the first of its kind in Scotland.

Blackburn House

Major restorations works were carried out at the category A-listed 18th century Blackburn House between 2005 and 2008. The house and outbuildings now provide office and studio space for the Creative Industries.

Blairtummock House

Blairtummock House is a category B-listed building in Easterhouse, Glasgow. We were the architects for its conversion to an Enterprise Centre providing office accommodation as part of the area regeneration.
