Addyman Archaeology

Addyman Archaeology is a commercial archaeological contractor providing a range of services and advice on archaeological issues arising from development.  Founded as Addyman & Kay in 1996, the company has worked with many private clients, public bodies, preservation trusts and architectural practices in the United Kingdom and beyond, often working in close association with Simpson & Brown.

The company is particularly well known for our specialist experience in standing building recording and interpretation, but our experienced team undertakes all forms of archaeological work – see ‘projects‘ for more details.

Whilst our main office is based in Edinburgh, we have staff located in Glasgow, East Lothian and York, and we are therefore particularly well placed to engage with projects across Scotland and the north of England.
